The 4th
annual Open Education Week gets underway on Monday,
March 9 with the theme The World Wants to Learn. Open education encompasses resources, tools
and practices that employ a framework of open sharing to improve educational
access and effectiveness worldwide. Open Education Week highlights open
education efforts from around the world and provides an opportunity for
educators, administrators, policy makers and learners to gain a greater
understanding of open educational practices and impacts.
In addition to the many project showcases, informational videos and other resources, there
is an amazing array of live webinars and local events.
Most webinars will be recorded and available for later viewing so no need to
miss any of these events but just a quick reminder of CCCOER sponsored or
relevant events broadcast during North American business hours.
